Welcome to my Blog

Welcome to my Disney College Program blog! I will be sharing my experiences, my stories, and my memories from this incredible journey on which I am about to embark. I have been waiting for this opportunity for my entire life, and I can't believe that it's finally my time to live and work in the most magical place on Earth. I know that this is the beginning of the best time of my life!

Walt Disney World has become more than just an annual vacation spot to me. It is my passion. My dreams. My life. And now, it is becoming my career and I couldn't be more excited.

My first trip to Walt Disney World was in the summer of 2000, with my parents and my sister, Megan. We loved everything about it -- what family wouldn't? But something stuck with us, and we kept returning, year after year. Sure, we get questions, and lots of them. "Don't you want to go somewhere else for a change?"

"Aren't y'all too old?"
"Haven't you done everything there?"
And the answer is always no.

To me, Walt Disney World isn't just about riding the rides or meeting the characters. It's about enjoying life and creating memories. It's about the people we meet, and the magical moments created by Cast Members. It's about expecting the best from Disney and never once being disappointed. It's about escaping the troubles of our world and living in fantasy. It's about the adventures, and always finding something new to do and explore. And most importantly, it's about spending time with my family and cherishing every moment. Most people think that my family is overly obsessed with Disney... which is 100% accurate. But the best part is, we're obsessed together. We have created the most special family memories that I am more grateful for than anything. We embrace our love for this wonderful place that my family calls home.

When I was about 10, I found out about the Disney College Program by talking to a Cast Member on our trip. An internship program where I get to live and work in Disney? I was ready to apply right then and there. The only problem was I wasn't even in middle school yet, so needless to say, it's been a long wait. As time went on, I realized that I was definitely meant to work for this company, and I've never let that dream slip out of my sight.

I'm finally going to be a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and help create the magic that I've experienced for so many years. My dream is coming true. I know that my life is about to change, and I've never been happier.

Walt Disney World, here I come!
