Registering for Classes

In my opinion, one of the most exciting components of the Disney College Program is the educational opportunities that Disney offers!

I was recently able to register for my first two classes in the summer, which will be from late June - mid August. Later on, I will be able to sign up for two more classes for the fall semester!

Disney offers both the Exploration Series seminars and Collegiate-level courses. Because UT doesn't offer me any credit for these classes, I've decided to take the seminars. The seminars are much more interactive, have frequent guest speakers, and even some field trips to see how what we discuss in class is being utilized in the parks! And the great part is, there's no homework, tests, or projects!

During the summer, I will be taking two of the Exploration Series seminars, which will be about Disney Heritage and Leadership! The Disney Heritage class is extremely popular and filled up within 10 minutes of registration being opened. This class focuses on Walt Disney, his many accomplishments, and how he established the company. While I know quite a lot about these topics, I am looking forward to learning even more! The Leadership class explores leadership qualities and components across the company and how Disney incorporates them into daily operations. I am so excited for both of these seminars!
My course registration for the summer term of DCP classes.
Taking classes while on the Disney College Program is completely optional, but I have been looking forward to these classes for such a long time! This is a great opportunity for me to learn more about the inner-workings of the company, meet and network with individuals from different divisions and departments, and make the most out of this experience. I plan on working for Disney following graduation and I want to learn as much as I can while I'm on my program!
