Welcome to Operations

Today I had my Welcome to Operations orientation at Disney University.
Ready for Day 2 of Training!
I was excited to be back at Disney University!
We learned a lot of things that were critical to succeeding in our role, and I was excited to be there! It was a really long day of learning, but my facilitators did a good job of trying to make it fun!

Again, I can't say too much, but I will post what I can!

We started in a four hour class called Welcome to Operations. This class talked more about the Four Keys that Disney operates on: safety, courtesy, show, and efficiency. We learned a lot about how to incorporate these aspects into our roles every day, and how to enhance our guests' experiences.

Then, we split up into a two hour class that was a little bit more focused on our role. I was in Welcome to Park Operations, which included Vacation Planning, Attractions, Custodial, and Main Entrance Operations. We talked about how we are the heart of the park, and what really makes the show happen!
I really enjoyed this class and learning about how we make the parks everything that they are!
I have Sunday and Monday off, and I am really excited to have my Epcot orientation on Tuesday!
