Welcome Back to my Blog!

Hello again, everyone! It's been too long! I am so excited to be back on this blog, because that means that I have something exciting to share!

I am INCREDIBLY happy to announce that as of September 18th, I have officially been accepted for a second Disney College Program!!!
I cannot wait to be a Cast Member again!
I received an offer for my top role choice, Concierge, so I will be working in one of Disney's amazing resorts! I will find out which resort I will be working at when I arrive. I will be assisting with tickets, dining and FastPass+ reservations, the MyMagic+ system, recreational information, and answering any and all questions that guests have about their time at Walt Disney World! I am so excited because this has always been one of my dream roles! I feel like I have been preparing for a role like this forever, one where I get to give advice and recommendations about my favorite place! I absolutely love the special experience that you get when you stay at a Disney resort and I can't wait to be part of creating that for so many guests.

 I have been incredibly busy with school this year, but it has all paid off because I will be graduating EARLY from The University of Texas in December! I couldn't be more excited! Disney has definitely been my motivation to work hard and graduate as soon as possible! After living and working there for 7 months, being away has been hard, but it has definitely encouraged me to finish my credits as fast as I could and get back to the magic, and back where I belong!

 I had the best time sharing my first program through this blog and I will be continuing to blog my experiences on here as often as I can! I love hearing from you and receiving comments and emails from those of you who are following along, so don't be shy! If you have an Instagram account, I tend to keep that updated the most frequently. My username is @courtneysuchart if you would like to follow me there! Lastly, a big THANK YOU to everyone who reads my blog. I mainly just do this for me to have a place where I can write down my memories, and knowing that people are interested in my experiences makes it so rewarding! Your support is truly humbling!

    That's great! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful future at Walt Disney World. I've enjoyed your family's trips through the photos and trip reports, and also enjoyed reading about your internship. You may recall reading in a previous email or post from me that I haven't been to WDW in ages, so your family's trips are especially fun to read about, AND I LOVE the photos - a)because they are wonderful and b) I use them to help me with allears.net's "Where in the World" photo game. So, although we are strangers, your family has given me a lot of WDW magic that it wouldn't have had otherwise lately!

    Did you end up dropping the second DCP offer for the PI offer?

      Yes. Because the PI is considered a "promotion" in that it's a higher status with the company, they are perfectly okay with you accepting the DCP offer while waiting to hear back from PI's!
