Thanksgiving Vacation

I was so excited to have my family come join me in Disney for Thanksgiving!  Between my regular days off and giving away shifts, I was able to have the entire time off which I was so glad about! Even living in Disney, I was SO looking forward to a Disney vacation with my family!
Home for the holidays!
Some of our favorite pals!
Sunsets and Mickey ears
Via Napoli is one of our favorite restaurants!
We had a great time in the parks, and even did the 4 parks in 1 day challenge one day. It was so much fun running around the parks and having fun together! We did a lot of the holiday events, as well as our favorite attractions too.
We'll miss the Sorcerer's Hat!
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
Love my sister!
On Thanksgiving, we spent the entire day in the Magic Kingdom! We had dinner reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern, which serves a traditional, all-you-can-eat, Thanksgiving dinner year-round. We'd never eaten here before, so we figured Thanksgiving was the perfect time to try it! This restaurant books up extremely fast for Thanksgiving, so we made this reservation months in advance.
So much to be thankful for!
Thanksgiving Dinner in the Magic Kingdom!
Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern
We also got to see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for the very first time! This is a dinner show at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campgrounds and it was FABULOUS! We absolutely loved it! This show is actually the longest running dinner show in the country! The food was amazing and the show was even better!
Excited to finally see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!
A wonderful evening at Fort Wilderness
Dinner is family style / all-you-can-eat!
Let's raise the roof inside the Hoop-Dee-Doo!
Overall, we had a great time in Disney for Thanksgiving, but mostly I was thankful that we could all be together in our very favorite place!
Another fantastic Suchart family vacation!

  1. Hi Courtney,

My daughter is doing attractions Fall 2015. I see that your family visited around Thanksgiving. But I thought there were a lot of blackout dates at that time, especially in the MK. Were they able to use your Maingate passes?

    1. Hi Dan, congratulations to your daughter! My family has WDW annual passes so they weren't using the maingate guest passes.
